I did it. My new hardest demon. This level is absolutely fantastic, I still love it even after spending so much time on it. Here's a quick review of the gameplay.
Before Michigun's part, everything gets incredibly consistent, including Zobros. Sometimes, I managed to get to Michigun almost every single attempt for a while. I wasn't always this consistent though, those first parts require a lot of focus that I didn't always have. Hinds is actually pretty challenging at first, especially the wave, although that also gets consistent. Let's move on to the hardest part: Michigun.
This part wouldn't actually be that hard if it wasn't for the 4 blue orbs. It's incredibly easy to mess up the click pattern and even if you do it right you'll probably die if you didn't hit the first orb late enough. You also have one triple spike at the end of the part that's actually pretty hard and killed me a decent amount. This part can go from a very consistent part to a literal wall. Sometimes, I would never get past it despite getting there very frequently. However, when you manage to pull it off, this part is incredibly satisfying.
After that we have anthrax, a pretty awkward part that isn't too big of an issue most of the time. I had a lot of trouble getting used to it and it even felt harder than Michigun at some point. Once you figure out which click pattern works best for you, it becomes significantly easier. Don't expect to get past it all the time though, this is still a challenging part and you can't underestimate it.
Everything between anthrax and abstractdark is decently challenging but not that bad in comparison to everything before (and everything after). The only spots that killed me were the UFO spam in ZenthicAlpha (only after the gravity switch, it gets pretty awkward there) and ViPriN's green orb at 41%. The triple spike in ViPriN's part was absurdly inconsistent for me at first, which is why I spent a long time trying to understand how it worked. Not an issue at all after I figured it out (enter the cube portal with only one wave click and hold from there, then hit the pink orb as late as possible).
The second half really begins with abstractdark (nasgubb being very easy), and holy hell this part is hard. The first jump is very precise and rather unintuitive. After that, you can die to the yellow orb at 59 and basically everything else if you don't pay attention. The last ship in that part is also quite challenging with nerves.
Etzer is not learny whatsoever. All the difficulty comes from the purely skill-based gameplay. I died there 5 times, nerves definitely make this part a lot harder although it is still definitely easier than abstractdark.
Speed's part is incredibly difficult to learn, but after learning, it's... an incredibly difficult part :( There are so many places you can die at. Pretty surprised that I only died there twice, honestly. Despite being so hard, this is one of if not the best part of the level gameplay-wise, it flows marvelously well.
Serponge's part is carried by the first jump in terms of difficulty. After that, it isn't very challenging. I still practiced it a lot to make sure I wouldn't die after the first jump because all the timings require some know-how.
G4lvatron's part is usually not hard but the fact that it's so late into the level makes up for that. As a result, it's scarily easy to die there from 0.
The level ends with Terron's part, which I don't have much to say about. You can definitely die at the mini wave, the green orb right after it and 96% so I'd recommend practicing this part a LOT more than you'd think to make sure you don't fail there.
Overall, this is one of the best extremes I've ever played. Almost every single part gets consistent, even the very hard ones. In terms of difficulty, this surprisingly didn't feel much harder than Bloodbath although it felt miles harder than SubSonic. There's a good reason for this though: my skillset is essentially perfect for this level but it is absolutely horrible for Bloodbath. Lastly, I'm pretty happy to be the second mobile victor of this even if it's on 144hz. Good luck to Mike and Slinky who both have fantastic progress on this (and good luck to any other mobile player who is going for this)!

I somehow fluked from 37% to this, did NOT expect to make such progress in less than 10 minutes playing from 0. I hope I can get to the wave again relatively soon! The first ship is definitely the hardest part right now, although it’s way more consistent than I expected it to be.

I really didn’t want to do the run this attempt because of my wave movements at 60% which look extremely suspicious, but this is something that I often do, basically I accidentally double tap really fast for some reason. Anyway, this level is really fun except for 79%. (Mobile) Cosmorush 21 52-100% [Extreme Demon] | Geometry Dash](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/UBhetqzCXN4/mqdefault.jpg)

I have now completed all three levels of the apocalyptic trilogy! Never thought I would be able to do that. Overall, it wasnt a fun experience with Cataclysm and Bloodbath being incredibly annoying levels that I didnt like at all. However, I really enjoyed aftermath which is now my favorite extreme demon gameplay-wise.
About Cataclysm...I really hated it. The first wave being so hard is annoying, the ship part at the drop is pretty awkward, the ball part at 27% never got consistent, the ship part at 40% is a big chokepoint and everything past that is awkward and annoying (mirrored ship) despite being quite a bit easier. I avoided this level for so long because I knew I would hate it. Very happy to have it done!

Woogi’s style looks pretty cool even today in my opinion, it has a certain charm and the messiness doesn’t really bring the level down in terms of decoration. I think this was pretty well polished for the time it was made in.
This level was pretty fun. It seemed really hard at first because it’s kind of hard to learn since the gameplay is very unique at times. However, after playing this for a while it became incredibly consistent to the point where I would get to the drop extremely often. Overall, this feels pretty second half heavy with the duals being pretty challenging and the 62% blue orb being very, very hard. Past 62% this level becomes significantly easier until the last few parts though. The first half also features some challenging bits, mostly the first ship and some timings in the robot-cube part. Overall a fun level with some strange gameplay choices, but the consistency you get after a while makes for a great experience.

I can’t believe I’m finally writing this description. This is by far the unluckiest experience I’ve had with a level, with 303 fails past 56%. Consequently, I had a pretty bad time playing this level, even though it is honestly pretty good. I do have a lot of issues with it though:
- The spider at 7% is by far the worst part of the level, it is insanely frustrating and quite inconsistent.
- The blue orb at 9% is incredibly awkward and somewhat luck based.
- Almost every single input in the ball part at 10% is annoying and unintuitive.
- The jump at 13% is annoying, mainly because it’s invisible.
- The transition at 23% is not good at all.
- The 2 robot jumps at 34% are insanely weird and somewhat buggy. This part got extremely consistent after a while though.
- The jump at 43% is way too difficult but it gets decently consistent after a while.
- The release at 50% is extremely awkward. I have no idea why, but it is much harder than it looks.
- 53-56% is full of annoying timings and dying right before the slow part is very frustrating.
- 58% is a massive chokepoint, it doesn’t seem that hard but it is incredibly easy to mess up from 0%.
- 59% is by far the biggest chokepoint in the level. The triple spike is quite difficult but the red orb is absurdly hard; it doesn’t look that hard on a video but it is significantly harder than it looks.
- 62% is another massive chokepoint.
- The ship part at 69% is surprisingly difficult and incredibly stressful from 0%. The fact that you can’t see anything is really annoying.
- The wave part at 72% is actually really easy but it apparently becomes impossible from 0%.
- The ball part at 75% is a massive wall from 0%. First of all, it is full of double and triple clicks that are insanely easy to mess up with nerves. It also has a stupidly hard timing at 76%, and the other inputs are all decently difficult.
- 85% and 87% are way too difficult.
- 89% is completely luck based. It is a massive chokepoint that doesn’t get consistent at all.
In terms of difficulty, this is undoubtedly harder than Sonic Wave Rebirth, making it my new hardest demon.

That was a very unexpected fluke, since 58-77% includes the wave release at 59% and the ball timing at 62%. Very happy to make more progress, it’s probably going to take a while to get back there though. I think this run alone is comparable to Bloodlust in terms of difficulty. • Again, sorry for the low quality but I really needed to avoid as much lag as possible to beat this.
• Well, I did it! Definitely my new hardest and my first demon in the top 150. This level is absolutely fantastic, I think its one of the best levels I couldve beaten as a new hardest.
The level starts off with a relatively easy and boring part, Terron. I dont really have anything else to say, it acts as a small break in between each attempt.
Ggboys part is definitely the hardest part in the level. The short mini ship section is really hard and never completely got consistent for me, just like the mini wave that comes right after (especially the ridiculously tight first timing). The second half of this part isnt too bad.
xcy-7s part features a mini wave section which isnt 100% consistent, the timings being too tight for that to be the case, for me at least. The ball section isnt too bad and gets incredibly consistent. Overall a fun part that killed me quite often.
Following this is the easiest part of the level in my opinion, Evasium. It gets consistent very fast and after a while I almost never died there. Its also really fun and the 4x speed gameplay was executed perfectly.
The wave in Dudexs part is not too bad and I almost never died there either. However, the spider part was SO hard for me. I kept dying there and just could not get consistent, its incredibly easy to mess up the timings which are super strict, mostly because of the constant speed changes. When you manage to do it, this part is extremely satisfying so its not too bad.
ViPriNs part is really hard to learn but it isnt difficult after playing it for a while. However, I found the two pink orbs at 50% to be really hard and I died there several times. Nothing else to say about this part, pretty fun.
Rustams part is definitely my least favorite part in the level. It never got completely consistent and some sections are incredibly buggy and poorly playtested. The wave timing at 59% is also ridiculously hard due to the lack of D blocks. I dont know why Rustam decided to help the player with D blocks everywhere in this part except for this one timing. Lastly, the last ship section killed me a few times and you need to control your ships momentum very well.
TheDevons part is absolutely fantastic. Its by far the most fun part in this level, its 100% consistent and always satisfying to play.
Pans part starts off with a dual that took me ages to get consistent at. I spent so much time finding a consistent click pattern but once I did it became relatively easy and consistent. The following cube part is actually pretty tough, almost entirely because of the first red orb which is far harder than it looks. The last wave felt highly inconsistent at first but I was surprisingly consistent from 0, only dying there once if I recall correctly.
Sumsars part is fine but the ship at 80-81% is SO hard. I died there 5 or 6 times, its just so easy to mess it up. The first two rotating saws at 80% require a lot of precision and can mess you up for the rest of the part, which explains all the deaths at 81%. The rest of this part isnt too bad although the last robot can definitely kill you.
Jeyzors part... Its literally the hardest part besides Ggboy, and its at the very end which does not help. Some of the timings are insanely hard, especially the green orb at 90%. I genuinely think its impossible to get 100% consistent at it. Actually pretty happy I only died there 3 times, definitely expected more deaths than that.
Overall an amazing level in terms of gameplay. I also like most of the deco which I think was pretty good for its time. Ive now completed the Sonic series and this is how I would rank the levels from best to worst:
1- SubSonic
2- UltraSonic
3- SuperSonic
4- HyperSonic
Lastly, this is my 10th extreme demon :)
