Not that big of a run, but still 28% which is basically as much as the dual (endscreen starts at 93%). I just wanted to get consistent at this ship part and I feel like I am now. The cube part is really easy, and a nice break. My issue is just gonna be the wave part which is insanely hard for me. I don’t know if I want to get 50% from 0 or 48-100% first, but all I know is that the next progress video will be in while...

This level is absolutely amazing, definitely one of the most enjoyable extreme demons I’ve played. The gameplay is straightforward and incredibly easy to learn which I really like.
The predrop is quite difficult because of the ship part at 6% but it gets somewhat consistent after a while so it isn’t a major issue. The first drop is incredibly consistent, although it is pretty easy to die at the cube (21%) and Speed’s part (31%). The part at 36% is incredibly satisfying to play and the timings are very fair and consistent. The second drop is probably my favorite part of the level, the ship at 51% was really hard at first but it eventually got consistent. Breaktime is actually decently hard, triple spikes are quite difficult with nerves. The ending (71-100%) is probably the least consistent part of the level but it is fun nonetheless. Finally, the last ship part is extremely easy to mess up, I’m surprised I only died there once.
Overall, this level is fantastic. It seems like many people find it boring to play, which is definitely not the case for me. You get far very often because of how consistent this level is and I love that. Finally, I think this level is balanced incredibly well, I cannot tell which half is harder and I don’t even know what the easiest part is. I definitely recommend it!

Upbeat Universe is a modern megacollab, which is set apart by it’s fantastic execution and consistency. While the level doesn’t seem to follow a specific theme, it’s tied together by the clean modernistic style every part uses. Furthermore, the smooth transitions help linking all the parts very well, although that unfortunately impacts the gameplay rather negatively. I mentioned this level’s great consistency, however some parts manage to outshine the rest, mainly Reki’s and TheCdPre’s parts in my opinion, both featuring incredible colors and remarkably well polished decoration. That being said, I find a few parts to lack a bit of depth, mostly abstort’s and CYT0’s parts. Overall, Upbeat Universe definitely lives up to its song in terms of quality and suits it very well, with aedr’s part being built around a darker color scheme, which the song seems to suggest. It being the only dark part in the level also makes it feel sort of out of place and I do wish some other parts expanded on said color scheme. This level is definitely one of the best modern megacollabs out there in my opinion, note that I used the LDM to avoid lag.
In terms of gameplay, I believe this level is pretty decent; for the most part, it is pretty satisfying to play, with everything past abstort’s part being absolutely fantastic in that regard. Unfortunately, as mentioned before, several transitions feel very unfair. For example, RNBW’s parts begins with two - rather precise - robot timings which get thrown at the player, not leaving much time to react. That being said, most transitions get consistent so it isn’t that big of an issue. My main problem is this level’s balancing: DevinCoyote’s part is way, way harder than the rest, the timings at 29% and 34% in particular feeling unnecessarily hard. Furthermore, abstort’s ship part is incredibly difficult, especially on 60hz. I don’t think it would be a particularly hard part with a higher refresh rate. Those two parts bump up this level’s difficulty significantly and I personally constantly died to them which eventually made the level quite boring despite the fast-paced gameplay. Overall, I would still recommend this level, especially if you’d like to improve your ship skills. Lastly, the last jump is pretty evil, as you can see in the thumbnail...

Visually, I think this is one of the best extreme demons in the game. The decoration looks absolutely phenomenal throughout the entire level, the second drop in particular looks insanely good. Every single part captures the song’s intensity extremely well and that is mostly why I love this level so much. I recommend checking out this level in full detail as I had to use the LDM: https://youtu.be/qXEGWphrfxg
In terms of gameplay, this level is relatively good but it definitely isn’t perfect. First of all, the balancing is quite weird; 40-100% is incredibly consistent and easy after learning it while the first 40% is quite difficult and inconsistent — I only got past 40% 3 times from 0% and fluked the level from 57%. Moreover, the duals are unimaginably hard to learn and they never get 100% consistent which can get annoying from 0%. The predrop is also full of awkward and inconsistent timings that get a bit frustrating after a while. Lastly, I’d like to mention how learny this level is: I spent about 5 hours learning the whole thing, it honestly felt like I was playing memory demon and that’s where most of the difficulty comes from. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing but it isn’t the type of gameplay I enjoy the most personally. I still had a good time playing this level and I definitely recommend it.

This level features some strange parts gameplay-wise but the sync is crazy good. Definitely the most consistent insane demon I’ve ever played, making it very fun since getting far all the time is really satisfying. Not a lot to say, the gameplay here is just pretty amazing. Definitely check out this level if you haven’t, a great low end insane demon!
