In terms of decoration, this has been my favorite insane demon ever since it came out. The atmosphere is simply brilliant and unlike anything I’ve seen before. It matches the song incredibly well, a song which is awesome in itself. I like the odd design and color choices as well as the structuring, those really contribute to giving this level its charm. I feel like the UFO and ball parts could’ve been more interesting, especially compared the first few parts, but this is nonetheless my favorite insane demon by a long shot in terms of decoration and atmosphere.
Also, I had to use the LDM so make sure to check out this level in full detail: youtu.be/CbGzD-GEAJU
The gameplay is also pretty fun. I admit that it’s very unbalanced, with 16-26% and 31-32% being miles harder than the rest of the level, but unbalanced doesn’t always mean bad. It was quite satisfying getting to 16% every single attempt and I had some windows of consistency where I would get past 32% very often. The gameplay itself in those parts is insanely hard while still being fun. The other parts are also amazing gameplay-wise, although there were some strange spots here and there; overall, I love the uniqueness of the gameplay.
I would say this is a high end insane demon, it definitely doesn’t reach extreme demon difficulty, but it’s very challenging and skill based even though it looks like it would be more reliant on memory.

Honestly one of the most fun levels I’ve ever played, the sync is almost perfect and the gameplay itself is incredible. It also looks really good for its time, and I think it’s Knobbelboy’s best level. I don’t think it’s an insane demon, though : it took me around 30 minutes and just 250 attempts (200 of the attempts shown at the end are really old and didn’t help me beat the level at all, so I don’t count those). I think it’s a hard demon or maybe even a medium although I probably just got very lucky. Awesome level :)

Basically, this is a hard demon except there’s a sonic wave part in the middle of it. It makes it incredibly unbalanced but overall it’s still pretty fun. This progress doesn’t really mean anything, the part I died to is incredibly hard and I expect well over a 100 deaths past 60 before I’m able to get anywhere. I’ll try my best to beat it, and hopefully that will make it my first rated extreme demon! By the way, learning the whole level and getting this run took me about 700 attempts. New attempt record for an insane demon! As you can see at the end of the video, I have 155 old attempts, thats just me from 4 years ago trying to get to the drop with Deadlocked as my hardest demon (didnt go well).
An incredibly fun level, everything seems pretty fair and balanced. Really enjoying the 144hz ship physics, especially for this level since it has a lot of tight flying sections. I definitely recommend this!

Overall, this level’s decoration is pretty good. It features your typical eye-candy colors reminiscent of Goose, and while those aren’t very interesting, they look good so I’m not complaining. I really enjoyed the intensity of this level, I believe Yakimaru was able to represent the song very well here considering how intense Aura is. That being said, it kind of felt messy as a whole and I thought it could’ve been polished a bit better, but it’s not that big of an issue. Note that I used the LDM.
In terms of gameplay, I absolutely loved this. I think it’s extremely satisfying to learn and to play; fast, learny gameplay requiring many inputs is something I’ve always really, really enjoyed so this level is perfect for me. Nothing in this level annoyed me in the slightest, and overall I think the balancing is pretty good.
My experience with this was awesome as well, and I believe I got pretty lucky with only one death in the second half. I made sure to practice this a lot so that it didn’t take me long from 0, which worked pretty well. Great level, I definitely recommend it!

First verification! I had a lot of fun playing this level although it took me a while and a lot of attempts. Here is how I feel about each part, individually:
- The first ship is one of, if not the hardest part of the level. As a result, this level grinds attempts extremely fast, explaining my high attempt count. That being said, I find this ship part incredibly satisfying to pull off.
- The wave at 4% is pretty hard at first but it becomes relatively easy after a while.
- The cube part at 10% is one of the easier parts, I think it’s quite fun to play as well.
- The ship part at 20% is insanely difficult (and ship being my worst gamemode doesn’t help), I never really got consistent at it. I did nerf one thing (adjusted the placement of some portals) that made it much more fun and consistent and buffed the rest of the part to compensate, so even though it’s hard, I also find this part fun.
- The cube at 27% is also extremely difficult, mostly because of the first few clicks, but it’s really satisfying to play.
- The wave part at 35% is one of the most consistent parts in the first half despite its difficulty. It takes a long time to get good at it, but once you do, it feels very fair.
- The second half (47-100%) is much, much easier than the first. It’s all about handling nerves once you get there, and it’s surprisingly easy to mess up the memory with nerves, resulting in many deaths from 0% (especially at the cube). I couldn’t really buff this section to make the level more balanced because buffs just made it very frustrating and awkward to play, so I just let it be way easier than the first half. I personally prefer first half heavy levels so I don’t really mind it.
Overall, I think this is a really fun level and I would definitely recommend it if you enjoy first half heavy levels. In terms of difficulty, I’m not sure how hard it is exactly but it felt harder than Digital Descent, curious to see what other people think though.

In terms of decoration, I think this level looks pretty good in the first half but it unfortunately gets quite messy after 54%. I absolutely love the song though, it definitely adds a lot to the level. I honestly think this is one of the best levels in the game in terms of atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the gameplay drove me insane, and this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had with an extreme demon:
- The first few clicks are quite unintuitive and inconsistent.
- The ship part at 14% is absolutely ridiculous. The straight fly at 16% is potentially the hardest straight fly I’ve come across in an extreme demon, mainly because of the transition into it. 17% is also insanely difficult, the yellow orb is surprisingly hard to hit and there are many different ways you can enter the ClubStep monster, which makes it incredibly inconsistent. 20-23% is also quite awkward to play.
- The UFO part, especially 29-32%, is very annoying as it doesn’t get completely consistent.
- 38-40% is incredibly awkward to play.
- The green orb at 43% is one of the hardest clicks in the level, it is such a hard timing and you can’t even see it because of the mirror portal.
- The jump at 47% is very unintuitive.
- 49-52% drove me insane, the amount of times I died right before the drop is absolutely ridiculous.
- 54% is by far the biggest chokepoint in the level. I basically never got past it. It is an absurdly tight moving straight fly that you can hardly see.
- The ship part at 60% is annoying because you cannot see anything.
- The blue orb at 66% is a massive chokepoint. It isn’t that difficult but it’s incredibly easy to mess up from 0.
- 68-73 is way too difficult. I died there so many times, especially at the dual wave.
- 83-86 is actually quite consistent but it is still really awkward and annoying from 0.
- 92% is incredibly unintuitive and dying there is so painful.
I do not recommend this level. I’m very happy to have it done since it is such a classic extreme demon, but unfortunately I did not enjoy playing it at all. Difficulty-wise, I think this is harder than SubSonic and easier than Bloodbath.
