New attempt record for an insane demon! As you can see at the end of the video, I have 155 old attempts, that's just me from 4 years ago trying to get to the drop with Deadlocked as my hardest demon (didn't go well).
An incredibly fun level, everything seems pretty fair and balanced. Really enjoying the 144hz ship physics, especially for this level since it has a lot of tight flying sections. I definitely recommend this!

Overall, this level’s decoration is pretty good. It features your typical eye-candy colors reminiscent of Goose, and while those aren’t very interesting, they look good so I’m not complaining. I really enjoyed the intensity of this level, I believe Yakimaru was able to represent the song very well here considering how intense Aura is. That being said, it kind of felt messy as a whole and I thought it could’ve been polished a bit better, but it’s not that big of an issue. Note that I used the LDM.
In terms of gameplay, I absolutely loved this. I think it’s extremely satisfying to learn and to play; fast, learny gameplay requiring many inputs is something I’ve always really, really enjoyed so this level is perfect for me. Nothing in this level annoyed me in the slightest, and overall I think the balancing is pretty good.
My experience with this was awesome as well, and I believe I got pretty lucky with only one death in the second half. I made sure to practice this a lot so that it didn’t take me long from 0, which worked pretty well. Great level, I definitely recommend it!

First verification! I had a lot of fun playing this level although it took me a while and a lot of attempts. Here is how I feel about each part, individually:
- The first ship is one of, if not the hardest part of the level. As a result, this level grinds attempts extremely fast, explaining my high attempt count. That being said, I find this ship part incredibly satisfying to pull off.
- The wave at 4% is pretty hard at first but it becomes relatively easy after a while.
- The cube part at 10% is one of the easier parts, I think it’s quite fun to play as well.
- The ship part at 20% is insanely difficult (and ship being my worst gamemode doesn’t help), I never really got consistent at it. I did nerf one thing (adjusted the placement of some portals) that made it much more fun and consistent and buffed the rest of the part to compensate, so even though it’s hard, I also find this part fun.
- The cube at 27% is also extremely difficult, mostly because of the first few clicks, but it’s really satisfying to play.
- The wave part at 35% is one of the most consistent parts in the first half despite its difficulty. It takes a long time to get good at it, but once you do, it feels very fair.
- The second half (47-100%) is much, much easier than the first. It’s all about handling nerves once you get there, and it’s surprisingly easy to mess up the memory with nerves, resulting in many deaths from 0% (especially at the cube). I couldn’t really buff this section to make the level more balanced because buffs just made it very frustrating and awkward to play, so I just let it be way easier than the first half. I personally prefer first half heavy levels so I don’t really mind it.
Overall, I think this is a really fun level and I would definitely recommend it if you enjoy first half heavy levels. In terms of difficulty, I’m not sure how hard it is exactly but it felt harder than Digital Descent, curious to see what other people think though.

In terms of decoration, I think this level looks pretty good in the first half but it unfortunately gets quite messy after 54%. I absolutely love the song though, it definitely adds a lot to the level. I honestly think this is one of the best levels in the game in terms of atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the gameplay drove me insane, and this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had with an extreme demon:
- The first few clicks are quite unintuitive and inconsistent.
- The ship part at 14% is absolutely ridiculous. The straight fly at 16% is potentially the hardest straight fly I’ve come across in an extreme demon, mainly because of the transition into it. 17% is also insanely difficult, the yellow orb is surprisingly hard to hit and there are many different ways you can enter the ClubStep monster, which makes it incredibly inconsistent. 20-23% is also quite awkward to play.
- The UFO part, especially 29-32%, is very annoying as it doesn’t get completely consistent.
- 38-40% is incredibly awkward to play.
- The green orb at 43% is one of the hardest clicks in the level, it is such a hard timing and you can’t even see it because of the mirror portal.
- The jump at 47% is very unintuitive.
- 49-52% drove me insane, the amount of times I died right before the drop is absolutely ridiculous.
- 54% is by far the biggest chokepoint in the level. I basically never got past it. It is an absurdly tight moving straight fly that you can hardly see.
- The ship part at 60% is annoying because you cannot see anything.
- The blue orb at 66% is a massive chokepoint. It isn’t that difficult but it’s incredibly easy to mess up from 0.
- 68-73 is way too difficult. I died there so many times, especially at the dual wave.
- 83-86 is actually quite consistent but it is still really awkward and annoying from 0.
- 92% is incredibly unintuitive and dying there is so painful.
I do not recommend this level. I’m very happy to have it done since it is such a classic extreme demon, but unfortunately I did not enjoy playing it at all. Difficulty-wise, I think this is harder than SubSonic and easier than Bloodbath.

Had to beat this on an external LDM because the level unfortunately does not have a LDM and the drop was too laggy from 0%. I honestly did not enjoy playing this, most of the difficulty comes from incredibly inconsistent and annoying chokepoints (especially the waves at 40% and 50%), and the fact that you die there every attempt (the first 40% being incredibly easy) makes this level very boring and frustrating. I wish the balancing was better because the base gameplay is honestly really good, I absolutely love the drop in particular. I also really like how this level looks (in full detail, of course).

Amazing level! Even though its pretty old now, it still looks great. The gameplay is incredibly fun, I absolutely love 48-56% in particular. The only thing Im not a fan of is the transition at 23%, but I have nothing else to say. I definitely recommend this level!

This is a pretty cool level by Hinds. I found a few parts quite annoying such as the last cube, but overall this was still a fun experience and you should definitely try it out!

Although the decoration was decent for its time and pretty well polished, it isn’t anything very interesting or new so I don’t have a whole lot to say.
The gameplay is alright, I found the wave as well as everything past the bossfight to be fun. Said bossfight and the ship part were both okay but I didn’t particularly enjoy them. Lastly, the beginning section was slightly annoying, not the type of gameplay I like at all, but it wasn’t too bad.
In terms of difficulty, this is without a doubt the easiest insane demon I’ve played; you should definitely give it a shot if you want to go for an insane demon!

Sorry for how negative this description is, but I really need to vent because this was a nightmare.
I cannot put into words how awful this level is. Without a doubt the worst insane demon I’ve ever played and nothing even comes close. It’s almost like the goal of this level was to make the most absurdly bad gameplay possible. I also had horrible luck with this, dying at 97% 4 times, 95% and 94%, then losing my 100% recording, forcing me to rebeat this thing.
The first part is alright. Basically the only part I can call alright in the first half, and even then I don’t like it because of how boring it is to have to go through it every single attempt. The cube part right after is...where do I even start. The timing at 14% is genuinely the stupidest timing I’ve ever seen in any level. First of all it’s apparently frame perfect on 60hz and secondly it’s incredibly hard to tell when you actually need to click. The timing at 16% is also infuriating although not nearly as awful as the one at 14%. The next cube part is extremely annoying, especially this blue-yellow orb thing which I hate dying to. The drop is just as unfun as the predrop. The first ball part has two ridiculously hard timings, first one being at 30% and the other one being at 33%. Now, get ready for the wave part, possibly the worst part in this entire level besides the first cube. There is invisible stuff on some walls and what seems to be a backwards slope, making things harder and more annoying than they should be. The timings at 39% and 41% should speak for themselves. The one at 39% is especially hard since if you go too low you die when hitting the mini portal. Now let’s move on to the dual which I found extremely unfun. When you die here you don’t know why, it just feels completely random. The part starting at 53% also features horrible gameplay. Like, what the hell is the wave at 56%? Do you see just how awkward the click pattern is? The transition from the wave to the UFO is also really bad.
After all that, the level gets significantly easier until 91%, and all the parts are actually somewhat fun! Of course, as to be expected from this level, there are some annoying bugs but compared to everything before these parts it almost doesn’t matter. Then we get to the last part, which I died to 6 times. That should speak for itself, a massive difficulty jump at the end is perfect to make this level even worse than it already was. Also pretty funny that they misspelled Galactic in the title.
Overall, this level is catastrophic. Genuinely one of the worst levels I have ever completed, and it almost reaches extreme demon difficulty in my opinion, taking me 3354 attempts. Do not ever play this level.
