I found a way to actually make Faschz's theory a reality.
Let me just say, this is not going to be useful in any speedrun category but who cares, it's just cool that Sonata is skippable!
If you want to understand what's going on, I recommend first watching Faschz's video. That video explains the concepts behind the actual warp stuff. The problem was getting PF to load room 0 instead of room 13.
I achieve loading room 0 by using 0th day + death. But this warp puts me above the entrance to sewers, I can't just void out here because when the Odolwa map loads, I'd be too far out of bounds and the fight wouldn't ever trigger (I'd be stuck in an infinite-voiding loop).
So to get our spawn point to a nice position, I have to hover all the way to that room 0, kill the pirate, then exit and re-enter the room. This sets my voidout position to a nice one where I can actually get into the Odolwa fight.
From there, clipping OoB is all that's needed to take me to milk road, and the rest is explained in Faschz's video.
Instead of waiting 24hrs at milk road for the 'dawn of the 2nd day' cutscene, you can wait 12hrs in PF (and if you're doing that hover you'll probably need blast mask anyway, so that time is going to pass). Then, you can store SoDT while you're voiding out at the hookshot clip and use it in milk road to instantly make it day 2.
