I believe the Duomid is an amazing tent and probably one of the best solo backpacking and wild camping setups on the market.

It is certainly a favourite among many and has been used around the world for many years and this MLD Duomid tent in DCF is one I have wanted to try out for a long time.

The cost of the Cuben Fibre (DCF) Duomid version, import costs, etc had originally put me off buying one to be honest ... However, a couple of months ago I had the opportunity to purchase one second hand at a bargain price so had to give it a go.

This is the first time it has been pitched to let me get an idea how it pitches as well as the internal size. It is really just a quick overview and first impressions; however, it has many features that I like such as the internal space that it offers.

It does have similarities to my old WickiUp 3 tent that I used for wild camping a few years ago but without the large footprint size when looking for suitable ground to pitch on.

This tent has been proven as great winter and mountain wild camping tent and as such look forward to trying it out over the coming year especially in the Scottish winter environment.
