In today’s video, I’m creating a textured, earth-inspired collage using Gelli printing and mixed media techniques. This lesson is Day 71: Earth’s Embrace from my 100 Days of Collage journey and focuses on grounding, texture, and rich, earthy layers.
I’m working with warm, natural colours, layered prints, and tactile surfaces to build a collage that feels rooted and organic. This process is all about slowing down, responding to texture and colour, and allowing the materials to guide the direction of the work.
This lesson is part of Class 11: Inspired by the Elements, now live on Skillshare, where we explore earth, air, fire, and water through seven intuitive collage prompts. Each class is process-driven, gentle, and designed to help you trust your creative instincts rather than follow strict rules.
