In this video we take a ride on Mississauga Miway’s route 4 Sherway Gardens, which runs east and west between Cooksville Go Station & Sherway Gardens Shopping Centre. Route 4 runs 7 days a week almost 24 hours a day, and is based out of Miway’s Central Parkway Garage. This route uses 40 foot transit buses.
1809 is a 2018 Novabus LFS Diesel and is part of a 12 unit order (1801-1812). These were the second fleet of buses purchased from Novabus by MiWay, and are the last Conventional Diesel units Purchased by the system. These units are powered with a Cummins 8.9L EPA2017 Clean Diesel Turbocharged engine (L9) and a 4 speed automatic Voith DIWA-864.6 transmission. These units use 4ONE Gemini & American Seating Insight passenger seats, and automatic heating and cooling for passengers.
