Today I'm going in to the hive to take care of the pesky mites we saw in our last check with Li Ying (see Bee Vlog #12 below). I'll be putting down a half of a Mite-Away Quick Strip (MAQS) in one of the lower boxes -- don't want to put down more as the hive is still fairly new.

Welcome to my first year of keeping bees, where I plan to learn everything I can about raising pollinators and maybe get some honey in the process.
