Here's a quick and easy way to set up a camera trap to photograph anything from fast moving extreme sports action to illusive wildlife. With the Miops trigger sitting in the hotshoe of your camera and with an off the shelf laser pointer you can get set up in minutes to start photographic cool moves at the local skate park or get images of shy wildlife as you sit away from the action watching from a hide.
Setting up the system is straightforward. You simply turn the Miops Trigger on and scroll through the various trigger modes using the larger Orange colored outer button on the main interface until you get to Laser. From there you select enter with the smaller inside right button which then presents you with the three parameters for the trigger setting:
1) Threshold - Sensitivity level of the Laser Beam gate.
2) Delay - Programme in a delay up to 999ms or 1sec.
3) Frames - Select how many exposures you want to take when the trigger tripped.
From there it's a simple case of experimentation to see how and where you can take your imaging. If you set your Miops Trigger up in this mode be sure to share your imagery online on Social Media and using #MiopsTrigger.
