Ever wondered about the Snakes to be found in Okinawa by night? Join me in this first episode of WILD OKINAWA as I delve into the jungles by night. These jungles are a veritable treasure trove of wildlife and as you'll see they have rewarded me with something truly unique. Having potentially filmed a snake species for the first time only goes to show that within these green rolling hills there still remain secrets to be unravelled. But what species did I encounter? Draw up a pew and check it out.

Given the potential that these are the first images of this snake species dictated the use of a very opaque watermark overlay. I've been burned in the past with people 'lifting' footage from my videos via YouTube so this time I'm taking precautions. I trust it doesn't deteriorate from your viewing experience.

Watch out for Part 2 in the hopefully not too distant future...

Edit Update:
Mistaken Identity of what I thought was the invasive Green Anole, Anolis carolinensis appearing @6:29 is in fact a common Green Grass Lizard, Takydromus smaragdinus. My apologies for the confusion.

Until now it's mainly been all about landscape imaging with a little wildlife thrown in for good measure. My goal is to shed greater focus towards Wildlife filming while taking you, my supporters, on some pretty wild adventures throughout Okinawa and the Ryukyu Islands.
