This video showcases Etho's latest discovery: day/night detection!

When nightfall arrives, the sensor picks it up, and replaces a few cobblestone blocks on the pathway with glowstone. Once day comes, the cobblestone is put back. Great for SMP: automatic and somewhat reliable lighting in cities. I did not show the change caused by night to day, because the grass takes too long to grow.
