Welcome to TryCraft! Here, 3 of us try to survive when spawned on a deserted island with no resources!
In today's episode, we are going into the nether to gather nether quartz, soul sand and glowstone for our floor in the pyramid at spawn.
We swing by TryTown forgetting we have bad omen and trigger a raid at the villager trading hall!! TryTown is unprotected from raids and it's only Gobspitt and I there. Gobspitt has to leave towards the end and I'm left to fight the last few of the last wave on my own.
So this is how to win an unplanned raid! You fight from high and far and run when you can!

Todays snapshot is 20w12a for the new nether update - Minecraft 1.16. We are going to look into this snapshot at a few new blocks and new mechanics! Who wants to respawn in THE NETHER!?
We first look at a couple of new blocks. Mojang updated the basalt and now we can polish it by smelting it in a furnace and it is gorgeous! Beautiful pattern and the block can be placed directional.
The snapshot also lets us look at Twisting vines which are a new vine added to the warped forest, and they are climbable!
We have gold nether ore that will drop golden nuggets and you can craft them into gold ingots to trade with the Piglins.
The biggest change in this Minecraft 1.16, snapshot 20w12a is the respawn anchor!! This block allows us to respawn in the nether by feeding glowstone to the block and then resetting our spawn point! WOOHOO!
