Mojang has given us the second snapshot for 1.16, minecrafts newest update. This update brings on Piglins and adds functions to the Hoglins. Stick with me to see how these new mobs behave!

The Hoglin was first introduced in snapshot 20w06a, however, it had no functionality, it just had cute ears and wandered around. It is now a hostile mob towards the player. If the Hoglin sees you, they will charge and attack you! Plant some warped fungi around to keep them away.

Piglins were now added and have a barter system. Throw a gold ingot on the ground or right click a piglin and see what they throw at you! Also watch as they intensely study gold. Don't give them other gold items though, as they will examine them and pocket them and you get nothing in return!
They only trade for gold ingots. Also make sure you are wearing any piece of gold armor while venturing to the nether, as Piglins are hostile to players who do not show off their gold outfits!
