The two week Minecraft phase started almost a week ago, and in particular I’ve been playing the Legacy Console Edition. This edition, specifically the Xbox 360 Edition, is what I grew up with and how I first played Minecraft. I wish these had continued to be updated instead of being replaced entirely by Bedrock Edition, because in a lot of ways Legacy Console is far superior to Bedrock.
I’ve gotten to the point where I have full enchanted diamond gear, so I wanted to take on the boss mobs on Hard difficulty again, starting with the Wither. While Legacy Console is based on and more faithful to Java, the Wither here is closer to its Bedrock counterpart. It spawns and dies the same way, it rapid fires its skulls the same way, it spawns Wither Skeletons at half health, and it flies around the same way. The only difference is that it doesn’t change health based on difficulty. It’s always 300 health.
