Being a new college student living away from home can be overwhelming, so social worker Mindy Horwitz has stepped in to help students adjust. Her service, mindyKNOWS provides care packages, assistance in finding medical care and other services, and peace of mind to parents of college students. Her service began locally in St. Louis, but can now be found across 10 different universities across the country.
