A special thanks to Clarence Reppin for sharing his Milwaukee Road memories with me. His family; grandfather and father were a big part of the Milwaukee Road here in Mendota. His grandpa lived in the same house I would grow up in at 301 7th avenue just across the tracks from the Milw depot and IC yard. He was the first foreman on the Milw when it began in 1904.
I can't believe it took over 20 years to get to this interview and build it into a video for You Tube.
I thank all the photographers whose images are in this presentation. Some are unknown, many known and I may have forgotten to list one or two.

The Milwaukee is gone but in Mendota we have done a great job at the museum in Mendota in preserving a 1938 combination car and two signs off the Milwaukee that are flying high once again near the CB&Q 4978. There's also a short section of track still in the ground north of the depot. The only Milwaukee rails left on the line. We also have rail from Welland also stored north of the depot.
Inside the museum I have the HO scale layout I constructed back in 1995-1997 of the tracks of the Milw, IC and CB&Q.
