Milton Bradley's Ask Zandar Commercial
Ask Zandar is a whimsical electronic fortune telling party game brought a little magic, mystery and technology to game night. Designed for 1 to 4 players ages 9 and up, players took turns drawing question cards and predicting whether the mystical wizard Zandar would answer YES or NO.
Then came the fun part...
Wave your hand over Zandar's crystal ball and watch the lights and sounds reveal one of nearly 30 different responses!
Correct predictions earned colored gems that players placed around the game board. The first player to collect five gems won the game and received a personalized fortune reading from Zandar.
Zandar would interpret five fortune disks connected to your gems, offering predictions about things like "a boy you like" or "a trip you want to take."
Think of it as a Magic 8-Ball meets a 90s electronic board game, with a wizard, a glowing crystal ball, lights, sounds and just enough theatrical flair to make you wonder if Zandar really knew your future.
Another great example of the strange, wonderful and wonderfully weird toys and games that made growing up so much fun.
Ask Zandar... What does the future hold, enjoy the commercial and Be A Kid Again....
