In this video, Martin reviews the Miles Arming Sword of Poker Armory, which is a very unique design of an arming sword. He explains that it is a standard one-handed sword that was used in medieval times and has a very broad edge with a deep fuller, which makes it durable and safe to use. He also mentions that the sword is quite light (maybe too light) an nimble, but the flex of the blade can be improved by customizing it to make it more flexible and adding more weight to it. He concludes by saying that he would recommend this sword to anyone looking for a durable and safe sword with a unique design, and also for those who are looking for customizations.

In historical fencing or HEMA (for Historical European Martial Arts) we reconstruct sword fighting systems from historical sources. Our club focuses on Italian medieval and renaissance sources, fencing with the Spadone (Two-Handed Sword), Spear, Sidesword (One-Handed Sword) together with Shield, Cape, Dagger, you name it!
