I'm working on a sideways knit tea cozy, at the half way point I need to make an opening for the spout/handle. In Part 1 I'm showed how to work and bind off the necessary stitches using a larger needle size. Here the missing stitches are reinstated with a little trick to strengthen the join.

Thanks for watching, please subscribe to see new videos. My former website is now closed BUT great news, you can now find all my patterns and virtual knitting technique DVDs at their new home at LittleBarnStudio.ca.
I'm Lucyknit on Instagram.
Patterns and Cool Socks Warm Feet and Cool Knitters Finish in Style books are also available on Rav.
Many Happy stitches, Lucy
