British Loco Films | Mid Hants Railway Autumn Steam Gala 2020 @BritishLocoFilms | Uploaded October 2020 | Updated October 2024, 6 minutes ago.
One of the first post virus lockdown thing steam gala this year was brought from Mid Hants Railway of an themed Pines Express/Somerset & Dorset Railway Gala.
With a visiting engine and a new engine to join the home fleet joined the usual normal home fleet was not to be missed. The visiting engine was KMS Jubilee class no.45596 Bahamas on its first visit to another preserved railway and plus it was the first jubilee to visit the line since 1990's. The second engine billed at the event was recently moved S&D 7F class no.53808 on a two year loan from the owners of Somerset & Dorset Trust from West Somerset Railway.
The rest of the home fleet was Ivatt 2MT no.41312, BR Standard 4MT no.76017 & SR S15 Urie class no.506 plus ex-NCB Hunslet Austerity class no.3781 as Thomas the tank engine without number & face and nickname Dave over the weekend was doing shunting over at Ropley yard.
The video was filmed on the Sunday 18th October,
This is probably my last outing of 2020 unless any of mainline during Christmas if possible & any railway is running over post christmas.
Enjoy!
