Mid Hants Railway held its annual Spring Steam Gala with an enhanced timetable and visiting locos in attendance.
Three locos booked for visiting was 1960's grubby look visiting from Swanage Railway/Southern Locomotive Ltd Battle of Britain class no.34070 Manston, The Beet Family's LMS Jubilee class no.45690 Leander making its farewell tour before boiler ticket expiry making its first Southern line visit since early 2000's and North Yorkshire Moors Railway based industrial tank Lambton tank no.29 which sadly failed over the gala and doesn't run on the 28th April.
Three home fleet locos ran with the usual ever reliable LSWR S15 class no.506, Ivatt 2MT no.41312 & Peckett Kilmerdson doing its driving experience runs.
British Railway's class 20 no.D8188 ran over Saturday & Sunday in fill of the some of the runs of no.29's trains.
