Experiment #450: Bottle of Eye Drops
(Rated G) Someone gave me the idea that microwaving a bottle of Visine could be really cool. I did it and it was, but in an unexpected way, most notably the way the Visine bottle blew up after being in the microwave for less than a minute. I was also astounded at how rapidly the eye drops bottle exploded. Other small bottles I did took at least a minute. Usually only light bulbs explode that quick. The only downside is that the Visine eye drops got salt water all over the inside of the door so that will be tough to clean but I think I can do it. I actually tried this twice to see what results I could get with an open cap, but the door was so clouded it was impossible to see inside. So I went with the first one only. Have microwaving ideas?
