Experiment #483: Pomelo
(Rated G) Microwaving produce items has been a bust with very few exceptions. Especially the citrus fruits, they were so boring that it was not even funny. So I decided to try microwaving an extra large citrus fruit with a very thick skin called a pomelo. It's like a giant grapefruit. Surely this would at least produce some kind of a result you would think? Unfortunately, no, not only was thia a very boring and uneventful outing, but at this point, I really don't see the point of microwaving any more fruits or vegetables. The pumello just got soft and spongy and the whole yard smelled like grapefruit cake. At least the sun wasn't as strong as in the last episode so the tarp actually blocked it out this time for the most part so you could see inside the microwave. I hate the unusually thick mesh that makes it hard to get a good visual of what I'm microwaving. So I decided the next episode will involve me finishing off this microwave the only way I know how. WIth an aerosol can and lots and lots of fire, so stay tuned for that super cool special. Microwave Me is currently in its 18th season of production and has now been running on YouTube for over four years, dating back to the old school microwave show period, while being filmed in crystal clear 1080p for the best quality and as always stars Captain Microwave stars as the host and producer, who for this episode uses a 1985 Montgomery Ward microwave.
