Experiment #469: 60w LED Light Bulb
(Rated G) Ok, so what I'm actually microwaving is a 10.5 watt LED bulb, but it's equivalent to 60 watts. The "Sammie" microwave has been retired because it's too hard to see inside of it thanks to that stupid white mesh. In its place is the oldest microwave I've used to date on my show, yes older than my kitchen microwave. This really old Litton microwave is from 1976 and has a type of interior that you don't see with newer microwaves, the cavity is very deep and not very wide or tall. Now as far as the actual experiment goes, it's a bit of a dud. I was hoping the bub would light up but the base of it just caught fire. If it wasn't for the bulb catching fire, I likely would not have aired this episode. At least with the newer microwave the visibility is so much better and that's because it's an old microwave which has a thin black mesh which is really easy to see past with the focus. Plus if you remember with Jareth the Kenmore BEAST, these old microwaves are much more durable than the newer microwaves. Microwave Me is currently in its 17th season of production and is now the second longest continually running microwave show on YouTube, while being filmed in crystal clear 1080p for the best quality and as always stars Captain Microwave stars as the show's host and producer, who for this episode uses a 1976 Litton microwave.
