Experiment #420: "OFF!" Mosquito Repellent
(Season Fourteen Finale)
(Rated G) For this episode, I'm microwaving bug spray! Okay, not really. But I am nuking some DEET in the form of "OFF!" mosquito repellent. It's just as flammable as you think it is, but it has the added bonus of producing some really nasty fumes, not like Raid, but still, I had to do it outside on a breezy day and wait for a couple hours after the microwaving to open the door. This stuff is actually worse than the CFL bulb I microwaved more than two years ago. If the can would have exploded, it could have been a disaster. I know you guys like EXTREME microwave videos, but this is as good as it's gonna get for the time being, so I hope you enjoy what I brought to you with this one. I know it doesn't look much worse than the spray paint, but trust me, it was like if the can of spray paint was combined with the CFL, hence bumped into the new category. Plus it MELTED THE PAINT inside of the microwave. I've never seen anything do that before. Somehow the microwave still works after doing that, but who knows? Fire was shooting out the back, sides, and bottom, so the magnetron might start buzzing like when I did that can of Cheese Whiz. Either way, this is one of my best ones ever. Microwave Me is in its 14th season and is continuing the trend of bigger and better microwave experiments than the previous season while being filmed in 1080p for the best quality and as always stars Captain Microwave, the show's host and producer, who for this episode uses a microwave made by Oster.
