I dont remember much about Slain, but I think the bosses in there were harder than in Valfaris. The main difficulty here is using default weapons without upgrading them. While the sword is alright, the plasma peashooter is too weak and has a very low rate of fire. Some fights get unnecessary long because of it.")

Pretty hard bosses. I thought ninja from previous DLC was the worst human boss in the game, but Kukai is even worse. Ren was fast but at least his weapons had short reach. But this guy is fast AND he also swings his long stick around like a helicopter. And when hes almost dead, he becomes immune to staggering, which is the just super terrible.
Part of me wants to make another video - beat all bosses again but on Dream of the Nioh and with attack raised as much as possible. That might be interesting - or it will be a totally miserable experience. Either way, it would take me months to grind so it probably wont happen.")

This is something I’ve been trying to do since the first game. Risk of Rain 2 is already a very challenging game, and without items it becomes even worse. Playing without items is also boring and just tedious, because enemies and bosses at the late stages have way too much health. I could only do this with Engineer, thanks to his shield and turrets.

This is my best video so far.
Playing on Expert Mode, the hardest difficulty available to you at the start of the game. Theres also Insane Mode, which makes you die in 1 hit and removes all checkpoints. I dont know if it increases HP of enemies even more than Expert, but if it doesnt, than this video is basically on Insane Mode already.
In the second part of the game, any fights which Ive recorded already are finished quickly. But in any new fights I wait until the very end before defeating the boss, or until the song loops, if the fight is endless.
What was the hardest boss for me? Cat God. It has so much HP on Expert Mode, that I initially thought I couldnt actually kill it before the fight ends. But I managed to do that... after many tries.")
