The D Line Subway Extension Project will add seven new stations and a reliable, high-speed connection between downtown and the Westside. Metro Art commissioned 27 artists/artist teams to create site-specific, architecturally integrated artworks across the seven stations. This video goes behind the scenes of the Veterans Legacy Art Project, a mosaic artwork designed in collaboration with Veterans through workshops led by arts organization Piece by Piece for the future D Line station at the West LA VA Medical Center.
