With the unexpected alliance of the Regular Army and Rebel Army to defeat the alien threat, it was thought that peace would be established. However, the conflict starts again when Morden's soldiers starts to act again through out the world. Also, there reports of strange creatures starts appearing and causing chaos. To handle both problems, the Regular Army once again enlists Marco, Eri, Tarma, and Fio. With a twist halfway through the game, is revealed the aliens from mars are again behind the attacks, only this time in a larger attack than before. So is up to us once again defeat them, in the longest the game of the series. For this game i selected Fio, the last of classic characters remaining to play. Also we play with Marco for majority of final mission. If X was my best run so far, then 3 is the worst, due the final having a huge amount of enemies attacking you simultaneously. That is the only downside in this amazing game, being my favorite after MSX. O
Not only thus game brought new weapons and vehicles, but also the option to select different paths from all missions except the final. Due this game being very long, I just used the normal routes. With this done, we completed halfway of the Metal Slug Series.
