Ok, so I actually never played a Metroid game but a friend told me I absolutely HAVE to remix this theme, and so I did. [FUTURE ME: and remixing the wrong version of this song is what you get for only half-listening to thier request. I thought I was being smart by just ripping the song data directly from Fusion, assuming that it's gonna be the same as the Prime version. In my defense, I've never played a Metroid game in my life.]

I heavily relied on electronic instruments and a slightly unusual drumkit here, and in my opinion, I nailed the otherworldly yet robotic vibe which is so important for this track to actually fit the fight.
