Then, a developer has teased a full body tracking app for VRChat using just a Kinect or iPhone with custom ML models — and it looks genuinely impressive. On the AR side, XPANCEO has partnered with French startup ITEN to develop a proof-of-concept smart contact lens with a built-in solid-state microbattery. And finally, some sad news — veteran VR studio Survios is reportedly shutting down after 13 years, and VR dungeon crawler Reave has been cancelled by Alta studio just before launch.
