MESS KIT COOKING AT BUSHCRAFT CAMP
Today I used my US Military Mess Kit and a COLEMAN Peak1 Model 400a Portable Camping Stove to prepare lunch at my bushcraft camp.
I was inspired to make “homemade chili” at camp after watching Carn @TheLoreofBushcraft make some during a recent video on his channel.
The Coleman Peak1 Model 400a stove was sent to me by my friend Steve Winkelman. Steve buys and sells a lot of collectibles and specializes in Coleman stoves and lanterns. •My knife is a modified Old Hickory kitchen knife
based on the US Military Mess Kit Knife design. I got the idea from seeing Scout Lakai on Instagram using his Heavy Cover Inc. mess kit knife. That knife is made in the USA by Dauntless Manufacturing and was distributed by Heavy Cover Inc.
