I’m super proud of this part and it was fun to edit Christa/Historia and Ymir. I really love songs that take a pretty topic and expose the difficulties or ugliness underneath. This song had a very Marina and the Diamonds feel, in that way, and it definitely reminded me of Christa. I feel like the royalty theme would really suit Christa even if we didn’t know about her history from the manga. In modern times, Christa would be the prom queen with everything and a horrible family and suicidal ideation.
I used ‘prom queen’ to emphasize that, as well as a bit sarcastically, like Ymir might. The prom queen is also the Christa that everyone else loves; not the one Ymir loves. But I wanted to show Ymir giving her something to be inspired by. Nothing wrong with being the prom queen but if you’re doing that for other people, it’s a problem. Historia isn’t, and shouldn’t be, someone fake, someone for people to project anything they want onto or the martyr to be loved after death, but she has her own strength and power. She can even make Ymir into a ‘good person’ just by being herself rather than the almost Christ-like person she pretended to be.
I liked the colors in this so I’m posting it without the color theme for the MEP.

My entry for round 1 of the TwerkTourney hosted by DiamantTiger and Zeldaawesome.
Im so glad this is done. Its been a long and exhausting process filled with frustration and loss of sleep. But its done. Its my first video with K. Its four minutes long- my longest video to date. And Im super happy with it. :)
Thank you to MissDoonaQueen, irishdancerduckyX2, and littlemissfiretruckx for betaing this repeatedly and for keeping me going well beyond the point where I realized just how long four minutes takes to edit. Another thanks for littlemissfiretruckx for fangirling over K with me and helping me with episodes. And irishdancerduckyX2 for convincing me to watch K. xD
For this round, we were told to show off with no other theme/rule in terms of the video other than to pick a song out of a list for our group. I picked this song, and a remix of it, which was considerably harder to edit than the original probably would have been, but Im pretty happy I was able to pull it off. Not exactly what Im showing off here, but I think I was focusing mainly on timing and atmosphere with this video. Lyric-following, too, of course, but that might be hard to tell if you havent seen the show.
This is supposed to be a general tribute to the show as a whole, so I purposefully mixed things up in terms of clips. There is some structure, with Kuroh and Shiro in the first verse, Fushimi and Yata in the second verse, and theres a Mikoto and Munakata section as well- but overall, the storyline is supposed to be a little muddled. I feel like this song called for that, especially toward the end. I tried to use the same overall scene to give it a more comprehensive feel, which was surprisingly hard to do, so hopefully it works. What I was trying to convey overall is a lack of connection or understanding between the characters, either about a certain action, or their relationship as a whole.

I think its safe to say I probably wont be doing another long video like this again for a while, because exhaustion. This was just my tribute to this show and my self-introduction to the fandom, I suppose. So Im not going away or anything; Im just tired after working on this, though my program didnt give me near as much trouble as my 500 subs video did, so thats a plus. I also wanted to say thank you for the huge amount of support you have shown for the 500 subs video. I really appreciate it, and your amazing comments really brightened my day and made editing that video worthwhile. Thank you for all the support you have given me.

I used some of the Red Clan for this because I love them, and the title of the song is actually perfect for them what with their powers. Im pretty happy with this part! And this show is so awesome and feelsy.

Hi Mac! Im your secret Santa! I know you want a bazillion other things I could have made for you, but I saw you liked this band and then I swear, I was set on making DickxBabs for you with some other Bat kids thrown in there, but then I started editing and I came up with this. Well, you did say you liked crossover/crack pairings. And Jason. I hope this is ok.
Im also gifting/dedicating this to Silence, since this is ultimately her pairing, after all, and I know she loves them a lot. Theyre really growing on me, especially since I think Jason needs to some love.

Storyline:
Its pretty sad, actually. Jason, trapped and eventually killed by the Joker, can only think about his love for Kara in his last moments. She gives him strength, but it isnt enough to save him. Kara and Batman dont make it in time and are left to mourn.
Oh, my god, what? Merry Christmas, here, have a depressing video. facepalm- Maybe the feels will make up for it? Jason asking Kara to bring him home just about broke my heart. Poor boy.

This is my (long overdue) entry for the second round of the Shades of Reality contest, hosted by RaikoElric.

The second round, the Green Challenge, was emotion. I picked the Mint Challenge, because I feel like no effects was closer to my style, and since I couldnt find an instrumental song I was inspired by. So, this video has no effects, no colorings, etc.
I picked the Doctor and Rose because I was moved by their relationship and I just had the idea to make a video for them with this song. I loved the idea of lovers separated, as they are by an entire dimension, and the mention of lonely souls. If the Doctor isnt a lonely soul, despite his many companions, I dont know what is. I also had the mini idea of him applying this to Rose as well and the wonderful times they had together.

Raiko, so sorry this is late, love, and I cant wait to battle you in Beta Wars because thats GOING to happen and it will be the most epic thing ever. :)
I hope this video is good enough. Whatever happens, Im glad I made something for these two. Big thanks for Leigh for helping me get the remaining clips I needed, and thanks to Disneykid for providing me with episodes some time ago.
