My entry for round 1 of the TwerkTourney hosted by DiamantTiger and Zeldaawesome.

I'm so glad this is done. It's been a long and exhausting process filled with frustration and loss of sleep. But it's done. It's my first video with K. It's four minutes long- my longest video to date. And I'm super happy with it. :)

Thank you to MissDoonaQueen, irishdancerduckyX2, and littlemissfiretruckx for betaing this repeatedly and for keeping me going well beyond the point where I realized just how long four minutes takes to edit. Another thanks for littlemissfiretruckx for fangirling over K with me and helping me with episodes. And irishdancerduckyX2 for convincing me to watch K. xD

For this round, we were told to 'show off' with no other theme/rule in terms of the video other than to pick a song out of a list for our group. I picked this song, and a remix of it, which was considerably harder to edit than the original probably would have been, but I'm pretty happy I was able to pull it off. Not exactly what I'm 'showing off' here, but I think I was focusing mainly on timing and atmosphere with this video. Lyric-following, too, of course, but that might be hard to tell if you haven't seen the show.

This is supposed to be a general tribute to the show as a whole, so I purposefully mixed things up in terms of clips. There is some structure, with Kuroh and Shiro in the first verse, Fushimi and Yata in the second verse, and there's a Mikoto and Munakata section as well- but overall, the storyline is supposed to be a little muddled. I feel like this song called for that, especially toward the end. I tried to use the same overall scene to give it a more comprehensive feel, which was surprisingly hard to do, so hopefully it works. What I was trying to convey overall is a lack of connection or understanding between the characters, either about a certain action, or their relationship as a whole.

I think it's safe to say I probably won't be doing another long video like this again for a while, because exhaustion. This was just my tribute to this show and my self-introduction to the fandom, I suppose. So I'm not going away or anything; I'm just tired after working on this, though my program didn't give me near as much trouble as my 500 subs video did, so that's a plus. I also wanted to say thank you for the huge amount of support you have shown for the 500 subs video. I really appreciate it, and your amazing comments really brightened my day and made editing that video worthwhile. Thank you for all the support you have given me.
