So some of these MEPs date all the way back to September, and oddly enough, I think the first one is my favorite. Information can be found in the video itself or below in the description.

Editor's Notes:

1 | We were supposed to do something with Kira's side vs. L's side. So I did Light and Misa vs L. This part was fun to edit. It's mostly Misa's POV, hating on L, knowing they'd be a lot happier if he weren't in the picture, ruining things.

2 | A CGI character study. I picked Karai and focused on emotional stuff, like her relationship with father, and then finding out about her biological father, and her relationship with Leo constantly being tested. It didn't come out as good as I thought it would.

3 | I have mixed feelings about this part. Editing Haru/Rin rivalry is fun, but the editing is kind of meh. We were supposed to have a story for this part, horror-themed and AU, so Haru notices the warning signs and Rin's jealousy and anger causes him attempt to drown Haru.

4 | I wanted to do something a little more romantic/happy/fluffy with Annie and Armin, since most of the stuff I edit with them is sad. There ended up being angst in the part anyway, but that was, surprisingly, more because of the lyrics and my attempt to follow them. Basically, Armin swears he's going to stay with her and be happy, helping her fight her demons. This is a little harder to promise when it comes to Annie. She is happy with him, but soon reverts back to her old patterns. Armin is sad at her betrayal, but resolved, knowing he can't give her any more chances, at least not now. If they can't go back to being happy together, being good people for each other, then Armin has to betray her too, and allow her to be captured, though he'll never completely get over her, or lose hope that he can be with her again.

5 | Another part for ATGB studios! For this one, we had to have a story too, so I did Light/Misa vs Alex. Light sends Misa to Alex so she can use the Eyes and kill him. Misa and Alex aren't exactly the best of friends, especially if being with him comes between her and Light. So it was fun to not only portray them as enemies, but also have Misa come out on top as the awesome villainess she is. I notice Alex wins is pretty much every video he's in, so I wanted to show him bested by one person who can win against him if she wants to.

6 | SNK feels! I wanted this part just so I could edit that line with Annie, but I rather like how the part turned out. I got to parallel Mikasa and Eren's mom as they both lose Eren, too, which is something I've wanted to do for a while because I know I'm not the only one who notices these things. :)

7 | Two parts I picked up so we could finally finish the Pet MEP. I used Shiro and Neko because Neko is really a cat so she counts as a pet. And her attachment to Shiro is so adorable. I loved her quote about loving Shiro and snacks, so I had to include that because it's supper sweet and adorable and pretty much a summary of a lot of Neko's personality.

8 | One of the most dysfunctional couples ever. This part just fit them to me. Not too happy with the editing, but the part where they kiss makes it much better. This song is hard to edit. I used a smoke overlay and red text because, you know, smoke and fire, cigarettes, nicotine.

9 | Rushed part is rushed. Making this gave me all kinds of YJ feels. You have no idea. First time editing with Wally/Artemis, I think. I usually edit with Roy/Jade, but these two are perf too. xD

10 | I had the fortune of being in one of Danny's 24-hour MEPs. And I love this song and this couple, and I just had to! Typical April x Karai fun. Karai coerces April into eating lunch with her 'for old times' and April resolves to avoiding her afterward. Karai doesn't like this, and the two fight, falling into their same patterns all over again. April finally gives in, and they resume their relationship.
