My part for xxEllfy's epic character study MEP. It's going to be epic indeed. I finally decided to upload this after it's been done for weeks now. Hope it looks okay.
The theme was character study. I wanted to show Misa's love for Light, how she chose to worship Kira and join him as his partner. Obviously her decision to make the Eye Deal makes everything more official and there's no turning back now.

This MEPi s fairly simply in clips/story:

Misa loves Light, Misa joins Light, Misa suffers for Light, Light dies, Misa commits suicide.

There is a lot of subtle things here, though, like shipping. Matsuda, Near, and Light are all in this. Matsuda sympathizes with her while she tortured, surprised when she begs them to kill her rather than betray Light. Near is part of what brings her down in the end, with his plan to bring Kira to justice, and while the image of her doll falling is a metaphor, I do feel like Near would have brought her down just as easily. I also like to think she would say the last two lines to Near when she finds out about Light's death. Perhaps Near would tell her himself.
