Vote Like or Dislike and Comment: [Washington, D.C.] -- Obama is honoring fallen soldiers in Chicago but some critics are openly chastising Obama for missing the Arlington Cemetery wreath-laying ceremony on Memorial Day. Obama attended the ceremony in 2009 and every president does not attend. George H. W. Bush skipped the wreath-laying ceremony all four years of his presidency (1989 through 1992). George Bush missed one, Reagan missed two and only President Clinton had perfect attendance among recent presidents. Present-day Obama critics appear to have a double standard and it's hard to see them as anything but one of the following.
Obama critics that give Bush a pass are: a. misinformed victims of hate media; or b. partisan political ideologues; or c. hypocrites; or d. racists; or e. all of the above.
Obama critics need to grip reality and support the troops and not the hate. Opinion based on various news reports and local Washington ABC featured segment.
