Occupied Washington, DC -- Reverend Jesse Jackson paid a follow-up visit to Occupation DC at K Street as a small fire broke out. Occupiers responded quickly and successfully to the small fire, police support was nearby, and then everyone welcomed Rev. Jackson. He was more welcome than a separate donation of thermals on a cold night. Additionally, safety training ensued -- a mic check reminded sleepers to put out unattended open flames.
