On Iran: Recently I was on the Megan Pormer Show on Fox and before we started filming I learned that Megan was half-Iranian and grew up in Iran. I also learned the incredible story of how her father made her leave Iran after she was repeatedly arrested by the “morality police” for strands of her hair being exposed. I asked her to share her story so we can all understand why the fight for women’s rights in Iran is so important. In this video she shares her story of her Iranian experience from our set while filming for Fox. Megan is a force of nature, a scientist , biomedical engineer, model, talk show host, and one of the most amazing women I know.
Iranian people are some of the most educated, brilliant, beautiful people I know. It’s a tragedy that they have to suffer under an evil and oppressive religious regime.
