As I told y'all last time, we've finally come to the point where we can access THAT place: The Secret Area. Hidden behind the statue, exactly at the same spot where MegaMan was able to obtain the Giga Freeze program, the entrance hole can be interacted with after beating the game.
After you do so, MegaMan will be sucked into a holy looking place, and this is where most of the post-game content is found. Secret Area also contains the hardest encounters in the game, so make sure to come prepared. In fact, even if you can enter as soon as you defeat Alpha, it's impossible to make progress without obtaining the Hammer. This key item is hidden in Undernet 7, and to get to that, it's mandatory to defeat FlameMan Beta.
Once inside, there are two different obstacles that you should be wary of. First, the '? Doors' work the same way they did in past games, blocking MegaMan's progress unless a specific requirement is met. The security system, on the other hand, is way trickier. Interacting with these black pillars will trigger a battle that acts like a puzzle. You'll need to delete the pillars in the order that corresponds, which is designated by the number that's written on them. Mess up and they'll end you in one hit. I heavily recommend saving right before doing any of this, as some pretty complex strategies will be required to complete these battles.
