The fourth adventure of the Blue Bomber brings us one of the most well-known mechanics of the saga, the "New Mega Buster", a.k.a, Charged Shot. This is actually a game changer, bosses now can be easier to take down with the default weapon and enemies require less button mashing to be destroyed.
The weapons are pretty useful, specially Dive Missile (even if it misses sometimes) and Drill Bomb. I tried to use then as much as I could to showcase some of it´s uses during gameplay.
MegaMan 4 also introduces new characters, like Eddie, the robot who appears sometimes during stages and lends us some power-ups. The DocRobots of MM3 are replaced by Dr.Cossack´s Castle, so the game has in total: 8 Robot Master Stages, 4 Dr.Cossack levels and 4 Dr.Wily levels.
I actually really like this entry of the series, it changes the gameplay for good and is still a blast to play.
