Now that Green Dragon gave Geo his powers, the last big area of the overworld is open: Dream Island. That also means we are approaching the last chapter before the endgame kicks in.
After a chat with Pat (nice rhyme), in which our protagonist finally makes him open up a bit and speak about his past, the game gives us freedom to explore. Thus, I decided to go and gather up some nice cards, and keep increasing MegaMan's HP.
Also, it's time for some boss hunting. I had avoided some EX fights in order to avoid triggering SP encounters in some common areas, but now, we are powerful enough to survive their fights. We'll get some really broken cards from them, that's for sure. This also led to obtaining enough Star Fragments to purchase the second Giga Card: Darkness Hole. This thing is bonkers, and you'll definitely notice its power in upcoming episodes.
Last, but not least, I went for a very...unique sidequest, you'll quickly notice what I'm talking about during the video.
