So to begin with, we come across a different kind of capsule in this level. This Capsule shows up in 3 different levels: this one, Crush Crawfish, and Bilzzard Buffalo. These capsules take you to an abandoned factory where we find Vile, still loving those Ride Armors. But X is a lot stronger than he was back in X1 so Vile's new toy doesn't hold up anymore. Defeat Vile and he runs away, leaving you to escape the now self-destructing factory. However, if you beat him with his weakness: either Ray Splasher or Spinning Blade, Vile dies right here, cutting his revenge story short. This will have an effect in the final levels later.

Anyway, as for the collectibles here, the armor capsule can only be acquired if you have Gravity Well and the Arm Parts, as the charged attack will life up a platform that takes you to it. The Body Parts reduce damage to you by half, naturally, but after taking a hit it will also produce a barrier, which reduces the damage of the next hit you take even more. The Sub Tank requires a Ride Armor as the heavy weight of the mech will destroy a part of the floor that leads to it.
