Man, the Star Force Legacy Collection releasing has got me thinking about other enhanced ports we've had. For instance, Mega Man X3 got a release on the PS1 and Saturn back in the day. This version of the game comes with new sound effects, a remixed soundtrack, and animated cutscenes. Often forgotten by Capcom themselves as it's only every been rereleased on the Mega Man X Collection back on PS2 and Gamecube.

So we just jump right into the action here, no prologue or anything. But anyway, a new robot named King has attacked the Robot Museum (the same one from Mega Man 7) and plans to use the data stored here to build an army of robots. Proto Man is here to stop him, but is very quickly given the X1 Zero treatment. King then uses the Green Devil, who is somehow even less threatening than his Mega Man 8 version, to cover his escape.
