Our final level for the Containers adds conveyor belts to the mix. Standing on them will carry you or anything you place on it to the end of the path, and you cannot do any actions while you're on them. Once you step on one, you are committed to it until the end.

So we just jump right into the action here, no prologue or anything. But anyway, a new robot named King has attacked the Robot Museum (the same one from Mega Man 7) and plans to use the data stored here to build an army of robots. Proto Man is here to stop him, but is very quickly given the X1 Zero treatment. King then uses the Green Devil, who is somehow even less threatening than his Mega Man 8 version, to cover his escape.
