_Do you think you’re too cool for Skull (Barrier)?_
Mega Man 4 has a wonderful roster of special weapons: Flash Stopper, Pharaoh Shot, Ring Boomerang, Dust Crusher, Drill Bomb, Rain Flush, and Dive Missile. Hm, wait, that’s only 7 Special Weapons there. Which one did I forget? Oh yeah, and Skull Barrier, the “shield” weapon that supposedly doesn’t protect us against anything, being totally useless. Hm, but is that really the case? Is Skull Barrier really that bad?
In this video, we are going to test that myth. Not by trying to recall how Skull Barrier felt last time we casually played through the game ages ago, but by testing it right now in every single stage. We’ll throw Skull Barrier at everything and see where (if at all) it sticks.
At the end, we’ll find out if Skull Barrier belongs to the F-tier of special weapons along with the ones like Super Arm, Spark Shock, and Hyper bomb; or if it belongs somewhere higher.
