I'm releasing the source code for my unfinished operating system for the SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis, it's more of a proof of concept. There were plans to use the SRAM as a storage hard drive, and using various hardware attachements as external storage. Making a music player to play SMPS tracks or even CD music. It can run programs created by others, but since there's no SRAM/storage supported, you can't put that program in for the OS to use. But it's all there and functioning, it works, and it's setup for backwards compatability. By the way, the keyboard does work, only one program in the OS actually uses it though for testing, it's the unreleased XBAND keyboard which is supported, I never got the time to support the saturn one... BlastEm (as far as I know) is the only emulator which supports XBAND and I'd like to thank Mask of Destiny for providing information/details for me to sift through, and get it to successfully function.
I guess I'm entering what you might call a new chapter, which sadly involves letting things go, some of my projects will never see the light of day, they're not ready (and likely never will be), this is one project I've got no issues with releasing publically unfinished, maybe someone will finish off what I started someday, maybe even you?
