#PhysicsDay spotlight: Kristi Beck spent her youth conducting science experiments and building robots with her father. What she discovered was that she was more interested in the precision of how the experiment was set up than the ultimate results. One day, her father told her that if she wanted to know more about how things like transistors work, she would need to study physics. So she did. Today Kristi is an experimental physicist studying quantum computing and quantum sensing at LLNL.
