For months, people have been telling us that Bánh Mì Cô Út serves one of the best sandwiches in New York City.
Don't get me wrong, I thought this bánh mì would be good. But after meeting the manager, Kim, I was shocked to learn that Bánh Mì Cô Út is making just about every ingredient that goes into their sandwiches entirely from scratch 🤯 Nearly half-a-dozen kinds of meat, all of the bread, everything. This is incredibly rare in NYC (as far as I know...). In fact, Kim believes that Bánh Mì Cô Út was the first bánh mì shop in New York City to bake their own Vietnamese baguettes on site.
Kim is humble and won't say this herself, but this is certainly one of the best bánh mì I've had in the five boroughs.
