Every so often someone makes a game that is SO tailor-made to my specific interests that it feels like I'm being trolled. It happened again last week with my discovery of EmuDevz, an open source game where you learn about 6502 assembly language and then use JavaScript to write an emulator for a machine that sounds suspiciously like the Nintendo Entertainment System.

You can play EmuDevz for free on your own machine by installing the source (github.com/afska/emudevz), on itch.io (afska.itch.io/emudevz) or on Steam store.steampowered.com/app/4260720/EmuDevz/. For a mere $10 you can get the Supporter Pack, which lets you add color themes, has sound effects, and a few other small perks. OF COURSE I bought the Supporter Pack!
